Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information ResumeRelaunch ("we," "our," "us") collects when you use resumerelaunch.com and the ResumeMatch app, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and password, managed through our authentication provider (Supabase). We never see or store your password in plain text.
- Resume and job description content: the resume file and job description text you submit are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate keyword analysis, an ATS score, and a rewritten resume. We do not store your resume file or its extracted text on our own servers beyond what's needed to process each request.
- Application tracker data: if you save an entry to your tracker, we store the company name, role title, ATS scores, grade, and application status you provide. We do not store resume content in the tracker.
- Payment information: purchases are handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number or other payment details. Only confirmation that a payment succeeded and which plan you bought.
- Basic technical data: your IP address is used only to apply rate limits that prevent abuse of our AI features, and is not retained beyond a rolling one-hour window.
How we use this information
- To provide the resume-optimization service you request
- To manage your account and credit balance
- To send account-related emails (confirmation, password reset, payment receipts)
- To prevent abuse and keep the service running reliably
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run ResumeRelaunch, each of which processes data on our behalf solely to provide their service to us:
- Supabase: authentication and database hosting
- Anthropic: AI processing of resume and job description content
- Stripe: payment processing
- Resend: delivery of account emails
- Vercel: application hosting
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Data retention
We retain your account information and tracker data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact support@resumerelaunch.com.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting support@resumerelaunch.com.
Children's privacy
ResumeRelaunch is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 years old.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
